Docker app from Frameleaf's Repository

Overview

Your photos, on your own server. Frameleaf Manager guides you through installing and maintaining Frameleaf: choose the folders that hold your library, review a signed release and bring the server online. From one local dashboard, check service health, start or stop the library, review updates, manage storage and create encrypted database recovery points. Frameleaf itself brings your photos and videos together with a timeline, smart search, people, places, albums, sharing and editing. Local use needs no Frameleaf Cloud account. Install this template for the guided setup. Create your Manager administrator from your home network on first open, then follow the linked Unraid guide. Manager controls sibling services through Docker and needs the dedicated folder mappings shown below. Recovery points contain the database and configuration; back up photo and video originals separately. The product screenshots use demonstration data.

Requirements

Unraid Docker enabled; dedicated persistent folders for Manager state, original media, the PostgreSQL database and database backups. Keep mapped host and container paths identical. Manager requires access to the Docker socket. See the installation guide for setup and hardware requirements.

Template configuration

Manager portPorttcp

Port you open Manager on. 2282 sits next to Frameleaf (2283) and avoids 9443, which Portainer and other apps often use

Target
9443
Default
2282
Value
2282
Manager originVariable

Optional. Leave blank to open Manager by IP address or tower.local. For a custom name or HTTP access, enter the exact HTTP or HTTPS address with port (for example http://tower.local:2282) and set Advanced View WebUI to match. HTTP is unencrypted; use a trusted network.

Target
MANAGER_ORIGIN
Manager statePathrw

Persistent sessions and recovery configuration. When changing the host path, change the container path and MANAGER_DATA too.

Target
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-manager
Default
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-manager
Value
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-manager
MediaPathrw

Original media. Keep host and container paths identical and update MANAGER_STORAGE_ROOTS.

Target
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-media
Default
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-media
Value
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-media
Database parentPathrw

Physical host storage outside Docker data/docker.img. Keep host and container paths identical and update database root variables.

Target
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-databases
Default
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-databases
Value
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-databases
Database backupsPathrw

Encrypted database-only checkpoints. Keep host and container paths identical and update MANAGER_BACKUP_ROOT.

Target
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-backups
Default
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-backups
Value
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-backups
State pathVariable

Must equal both paths in the Manager state mapping above.

Target
MANAGER_DATA
Default
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-manager
Value
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-manager
Media rootsVariable

Approved media folders, separated by colons. Each needs an identical host/container mapping.

Target
MANAGER_STORAGE_ROOTS
Default
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-media
Value
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-media
Database rootsVariable

Approved database parent folders, separated by colons. Each needs an identical host/container mapping.

Target
MANAGER_DATABASE_ROOTS
Default
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-databases
Value
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-databases
Database defaultVariable

Default database parent. Must be one of the mapped database roots above.

Target
MANAGER_APPDATA_ROOT
Default
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-databases
Value
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-databases
Backup pathVariable

Must equal both paths in the Database backups mapping above. Does not back up media.

Target
MANAGER_BACKUP_ROOT
Default
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-backups
Value
/mnt/user/appdata/frameleaf-backups
Frameleaf addressVariable

Where the Frameleaf app it installs is published. 0.0.0.0 makes it reachable from other devices on your network; 127.0.0.1 limits it to this server.

Target
MANAGER_BIND_ADDRESS

Target
/var/run/docker.sock
Default
/var/run/docker.sock

DockerMan templatesPathrw

Saves per-container templates so Frameleaf services can also be edited and recreated by Unraid DockerMan.

Target
/run/frameleaf-host/templates-user
Default
/boot/config/plugins/dockerMan/templates-user
Value
/boot/config/plugins/dockerMan/templates-user
Host mount informationPathro

Optional override. Leave blank: Manager automatically discovers and accesses Docker's existing Unraid autostart list for imports and recovery.

Target
/run/frameleaf-host/unraid-autostart
Autostart controller pathVariable

Optional override for an existing manual autostart mapping. Leave blank for automatic configuration.

Target
