Homestead Free Preview

Homestead is a self-hosted digital home for local media and personal archives. This public preview is intended for fresh installations on a trusted network.

Free includes Movies, TV, Music, Books, locally archived YouTube, local search, playback, watchlists, collections, watch orders, and progress. It supports one owner and one active stream. Paid-plan areas remain locked and do not require a placeholder account or trial.

The standard Docker install pulls ghcr.io/tbritton0826/homestead:latest. Release automation and a separate, submission-ready Unraid Community Apps metadata repository are included for maintainers.

This is development software. Back up persistent data before updating. Homestead does not provide media or grant rights to obtain, copy, or distribute content.

Install Homestead on Unraid in a few clicks.

Find Homestead in Community Apps on your Unraid server, review the template, and click Install. Unraid handles the Docker app or plugin setup from the published template.

Open the Apps tab on your Unraid server Search Community Apps for Homestead Review the template variables and paths Click Install
